The upmarket and exclusive Nagüeles area is set in a privileged natural environment and including the Parque de Nagüeles, a park which is in fact a huge Mediterranean Pine Forest spanning 10 hectares, located on the Sierra Blanca Urbanization. It has a youth hostel camp with 24 barbecues, picnic tables, play park and a lovely hermitage in honour of the Patron Saint of Marbella, San Bernabé. The Nagüeles Cave is about one kilometre from the hostel and is ideal for potholing, with several routes of varying difficulty. This explains is why Nagüeles is one of Marbella’s most peaceful residential areas, surrounded as it is by a natural forest.
In the area, there are several urbanizations with top quality homes featuring unbeatable views of the sea and the mountains. There are two areas within Nagüeles—the Nagüeles Alto upper area which includes all the urbanizations from the A-7 motorway to the mountain, and the Nagüeles Bajo lower area, which covers the areas from the motorway down to the beach.
