Each of Marbella’s clubs provides a unique and specialised experience and so here are some of our favourite summer spots. All of them are easily reachable from Greenlife Estates in Elviria, with the first four being the closest.
- Nikki Beach
Long established on the coast, this beach club’s large white Balinese sunbeds and North African aesthetic exude a cool and trendy vibe. The restaurant’s quality and range of international dishes reflect the brand’s worldwide success and its weekly parties are among some of the coast’s best. Nikki Beach’s famous themed events, such as San Tropez and the Red Party, feature some of the most creative and intriguing entertainment, transforming the venue into something reminiscent of a Cirque du Soleil set. - South Beach
To be found in El Rosario also east of Marbella, this is the ultimate relaxation spot. Boho-chic in style, it houses one of the top restaurants in the area. From exotic salads to renting out paddle boards, even children’s parties, South Beach has your needs and wants covered.
- Trocadero Arena
With an ‘English colonial’ theme, this beach club at Rio Real is the height of luxury. Its Asian fusion food is worth the trip alone, but its sunbeds, relaxed mood in the day and lively atmosphere in the evening, make it a good choice to either chill or party.
- La Cabane Beach Club
Modern and elegant, this beach club, part of the Los Monteros resort, is one of the coast’s best-kept secrets. Exclusive, cool and functional for any event, check out the buffet for an exquisite range of fresh meat, seafood and homemade desserts.
- La Sala by the Sea
Formerly known as Buddha Beach, this Far Eastern inspired boutique beach club is the perfect place for celeb spotting. Catch a golden tan while rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, or relax in the Jacuzzi with one of La Sala’s famous cocktails. The ambiance is young and energetic and the only aim is to have fun.
- Ocean Club
Ocean Club has long been a well-known name among tourists and locals alike. Its stylish white theme contrasting with the blue of sea, sky and pool, and live DJs make it one of the coolest places to catch a suntan. Come sundown, its proximity to Puerto Banús means that the party doesn’t have to stop just yet.
- Marbella Club Hotel
The first and still one of the best, the exclusive resort has continued to innovate and define not just trends, but the coast’s identity for almost 60 years. The hotel’s timeless beach club and world famous lunch buffet create the perfect backdrop for a tranquil and indulgent escape. While you may not find champagne spray parties here, you will find grace, sophistication and enduring style.
